I am always nervous submitting my baby gift boxes for review. It's an absolute labour of love for me so I'd be incredibly disappointed if anyone didn't like what they received.
I spend a majority of my time curating beautiful baby and new mum gifts for each gift box. Items are inspected carefully so your new mum and of course, baby, are not disappointed! Baby's need to have the very best (and so does mum) and I would never add anything in a gift box that I personally would never use.
But no matter how many time and care I spend on each individual gift box, there are always the things that you cannot plan for: rain damaging the gift box, postman dropping the box, or it getting lost in the mail.
Thankfully none of these have happened yet!
Reviews and honest feedback can tell me whether my baby gift boxes will surprise and delight a new mum. I can also find out if there are areas I can improve upon. Did the gift box arrive in one piece? Were the items all jostled around? Did anything break? Did the items appear cheap and tacky?
Grumpy Mum was an ideal person to submit my gift box for review. Her reviews were honest and well written. She clearly scrutinises each item and would be open and honest with her review.
So, I took a deep breath and sent a baby girl gift box for review.
I prepared a bespoke baby girl box with a few popular items for Grumpy Mum's review.
Inside the pink gift box were:
I packed everything carefully in tissue paper. The soap and heart shaped keepsake were wrapped in bubblewrap, tissue paper, and tied with a ribbon. The gift box itself was then packed in bubblewrap to protect it on its journey.
The nervous wait........
I finally plucked up the courage to check her website the other day. And, to my surprise: she loved her baby girl gift box!
I am absolutely thrilled to read that she enjoyed unwrapping her gift as much as I spent wrapping it! The review is posted right here and I'm pleased to know that she noticed the quality of baby girl gifts. It means the hard work does pay off!
